About the Library
Community Services

The mission of the East Greenbush Community Library is to serve as a community center for lifelong learning, with access to a broad range of ideas and information through traditional and emerging resources to meet the intellectual, recreational and cultural needs of East Greenbush residents in a professional and friendly manner.

January 1 for New Year's Day Sunday, April 8 for Easter Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28 for Memorial Day Weekend Wednesday, July 4 for Independence Day Saturday, September 1 through Monday, September 3 for Labor Day Weekend Thursday, November 22 for Thanksgiving Day Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21 for Thanksgiving Eve.
The Library will be OPEN on the following Mondays: January 16, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day February 20, Presidents' Day October 8, Columbus Day
