About the Library

Mission Statement

The mission of the East Greenbush Community Library is to serve as a community center for lifelong learning, with access to a broad range of ideas and information through traditional and emerging resources to meet the intellectual, recreational and cultural needs of East Greenbush residents in a professional and friendly manner.

Thursday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Day

Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

 

The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25 for Thanksgiving Eve and on Thursday, December 31 for New Year's Eve.

 

The Library will be open on the following Mondays:

January 21, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

February 18, Presidents' Day

October 21, Columbus Day

 

 

Directions:

The library is located off exit 9 of Interstate 90. 

Coming from the WEST take I-90 E to Exit 9.  At the end of the exit turn right onto Route 4 South.  At first light turn left onto Route 151 East (Luther Rd).  Turn right onto Michael Rd.  Library will be on your right.

Coming from the EAST take I-90 W to Exit 9.  At the end of the exit turn left onto Route 4 South.  At first light turn left onto Route 151 East (Luther Rd).  Turn right onto Michael Rd.  Library will be on your right.

The library can also be reached from Routes 9 & 20.

Coming from the WEST take 9 & 20 E.  Turn left onto Route 4.  Turn right onto Route 151 East (Luther Rd.).  Turn right onto Michael Rd.  Library will be on your right.
