Pajama Storytime Thursdays @ 7pm     (June 27 - August 1)

This all ages program includes books, songs, rhymes, puppets, flannel stories and a coloring sheet or simple craft. Children are welcome to come dressed in PJs!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign up in advance?     All of our Summer 2013 storytimes require no registration, you can drop in!  

Do I need to stay with my child during the program?     Yes, participate with your child and have fun!  Parents who are listening to the stories and showing interest in books are wonderful role models for their children. Please plan to visit with other parents before or after storytime.

What should I do if my child is not paying attention or starts crying?     It is not expected that your child will particiate in every activity. Sometimes children just like to watch what's going on. However, if they see you participating, they eventually will too. If your child becomes too restless or unhappy, step outside for a moment. Come back in when your child is ready to return to the group or try again another day. 

Can I bring snacks?     Please save snacks for another time. Children are better able to participate in storytime activities if their hands are free and they are not distracted by food. Also, sharing can be a problem for families with dietary restrictions. Do, however, feel free to nurse or bottle-feed babies.
