Clearing the Browser History

Internet Explorer:  In the menu bar, select Tools>Internet Options.  On the "General" tab, under Browsing History, click "Delete." 

Mozilla Firefox: In the menu bar, select Tools>Options.  Click the "Privacy" tab.  From here, you can clear the history, as well as set whether the history is saved at all.  

Safari (Apple):  In the Safari menu, select "Empty cache."  To clear cookies, go to the Safari menu and select "Preferences."  From the Security dialog box, select "Bookmarks."  Click "Show Cookies."  Remove one at a time or choose "select all" and remove.

Chrome: Select the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.  Select Tools>Clear Browsing Data.  Select the types of information and timeline to delete.  Click "Clear browsing data."
