LPT:One Print Client (download) You can easily connect to our printing system from your laptop computer, and print to the library printers. There is a charge of 15¢ per copy for single-sided B&W (25¢ double-sided) and 50¢ per page for color copies. Begin by downloading the LPT:One print Client here.
Install Using: Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox
Installing via Internet Explorer 1. Click Run or open to run the installer (clientlauncher.zip) from its current location. Tip! You can save the clientlauncher.zip file to your desktop and keep it there for your next library visit. Just double-click on the file to run it.
(NOTE: You may have to Drag and Drop the clientlauncher.exe to your desktop after it opens)
Internet Explorer displays a Security Warning box.
2. Click Run The system installs the LPT:One Print Client and minimizes to the taskbar.
1. Click Save File.
2. Double-Click clientlauncher.exe
3. Click OK. The system installs the LPT:One Print Client and minimizes to the taskbar. Please note! There is nothing permanently installed on your computer.
The LPT:One Print Client must be running in the background to print to our printers. 1. Select the option to print. 2. Select either Black and White on 192.168.9.12 (default) or Color on 192.168.9.12, and number of copies, and click Print.
3. When prompted for User ID, enter you Library Card number, or if you do not have a library card, enter any four digits (ex. 1234). You must remember this number when you pick up your print job at the Release Station, next to the Reference desk.
4. Click OK to submit the print job.
5. Click OK.
6. Your print job is ready to pick up at the Print Release Station next to the Reference desk. Follow posted instructions to pay and print.
Closing the LPT:One print Client 1. Open the LPT:One Print Client by clicking on the button in the taskbar.
2. Click Stop Print Client The LPT:One Print Client closes, and restores your previous default printer.
Note! When you shut down or log off your computer, the LPT:One Print Client will automatically close. You will need to reinstall it next time you would like to print from your device to our printers.
Troubleshooting Windows Vista/7 If the above steps do not work as expected, make sure file and print sharing are turned on. There are also some known issues with User Access Control (UAC). You can also try disabling UAC at your own risk.
