Renew by phone

Call 518-477-7476: You must supply your library card number to library staff when calling with a telephone renewal. Materials can be renewed by phone if they are overdue and the fine does not exceed $5.00 on your account.

Renew online

1. Select My Account
2. Enter your Borrower ID and PIN.
   Borrower ID is the number on the back of your library card, without spaces. By default, your PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number you used when you got your library card. If you are unable to login, please bring your library card and picture ID to the Reference Desk to get your PIN.
3. Choose "Items Out"
4. Select the items you want to renew
5. Click the Renew button.

A box will appear telling you whether or not the item has been renewed.

Renew in person

Bring the item(s) to the Circulation Desk. We will renew the items for you.

Please Note:

Most library items may be renewed twice unless they have been reserved for another patron.

Material from other libraries may be renewed at EGCL but are subject to the renewal policy of the owning library.
